Vice President – Restructuring (Capital Structure Solutions)

About the role

Jefferies is expanding its Dubai Restructuring and Liability Management Advisory practice and is seeking an experienced Vice President to lead complex capital‑structure transactions across the Middle East, North Africa and broader EMEA. The role involves direct client interaction, transaction execution and contributing to the growth of the franchise.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the execution of restructuring, refinancing, recapitalisation, liability management and distressed M&A mandates across the region.
• Manage all aspects of transaction execution, including financial analysis, stakeholder coordination, due diligence and project management.
• Develop and review complex financial models, liquidity analyses, business plans, capital‑structure assessments and valuation materials.
• Prepare high‑quality client presentations, strategic reviews, board materials and transaction documentation.
• Collaborate with corporate clients, financial institutions, sovereign‑related entities, private‑equity sponsors and creditor groups.
• Support Managing Directors in business development, market coverage and origination activities.
• Identify and evaluate new restructuring and special‑situations opportunities.
• Lead and mentor Analysts and Associates, ensuring high‑quality deliverables and professional development.

Required profile

• At least 6 years of experience in investment banking, restructuring, or capital‑markets advisory.
• Proven ability to lead transaction execution and manage senior‑level client relationships.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in financial modelling and valuation.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including mentoring junior team members.
