About the role

The Vice Principal & Head of High School leads the high‑school division of iCademy Middle East, delivering strategic academic direction and ensuring high‑quality online learning for Grades 9‑12. Reporting to the Head of School, the role blends senior leadership with hands‑on oversight of curriculum, assessment, student wellbeing and staff performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide whole‑school academic leadership, supporting the Head of School and deputising when required.
• Oversee all aspects of the High School department, including curriculum planning, online teaching standards, assessment practices and student progress.
• Monitor academic performance, analyse data, and implement intervention strategies to improve student outcomes.
• Support teachers in using virtual learning platforms, digital resources and innovative instructional methods.
• Lead staff development, coaching, performance monitoring and recruitment for the High School team.
• Ensure student wellbeing, safeguarding and compliance with KHDA and UAE education regulations.
• Coordinate with Academic Advisors, Learning Coaches and support services to deliver integrated student support.
