About the role

The Vulnerability Assessment Analyst is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating security weaknesses across the organization’s information systems and networks. Using a blend of automated scanning tools and manual testing techniques, the analyst proactively discovers potential entry points for cyber attackers and helps improve the overall security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Perform regular and ad‑hoc vulnerability scans on diverse systems and networks using both automated tools and manual techniques.
• Analyze scan results to differentiate false positives from exploitable vulnerabilities and produce detailed reports with risk ratings.
• Collaborate with IT teams to recommend and track remediation actions, ensuring identified issues are properly addressed.
• Stay current with emerging threats, new vulnerabilities, and evolving security research to continuously enhance assessment methods.
