Waiter / Waitress – Full‑Time Hospitality Role

About the role

Join Marriott International in Dubai as a Waiter/Waitress, delivering exceptional food and beverage service to guests in a dynamic hotel environment. This full‑time position involves interacting with guests, supporting the kitchen team, and ensuring a polished dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages according to menu and service standards.
• Set tables for various events, answer menu questions, and communicate special dietary needs to the kitchen.
• Record orders and transactions using the MICROS POS system.
• Check guest satisfaction throughout the service and address any concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, and complete closing duties such as restocking and turning off lights.
• Present accurate checks, process payments, and follow all safety, security, and company policies.

Required profile

• Professional appearance and ability to work in a fast‑paced hospitality setting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb unassisted and up to 50 lb with assistance.
• Willingness to follow training, safety procedures, and company standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
