About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Waiter or Waitress to join the Porterhouse team at Sofitel Dubai The Palm, delivering casual fine‑dining service in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

Know the complete food and beverage menu and be able to answer guest queries.
Prepare the outlet for service, including mise‑en‑place, setting and resetting tables, and light cleaning.
Take guest orders, suggest upsells, and record sales accurately using the POS system.
Serve food and drinks according to brand standards and presentation guidelines.
Clear tables, transport dirty dishes, and maintain a clean, orderly station throughout the shift.
Complete opening and closing duties as assigned, ensuring all brand standards are met.
Accommodate special guest requests for specific preparation methods or ingredients.

Required profile

Previous experience in a luxury hotel or established restaurant setting.
Energetic, fun‑loving personality with a genuine passion for hospitality.
Currently residing in the United Arab Emirates.
Fluent English communication skills.
