About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Waiter or Waitress to join the Porterhouse team at Sofitel Dubai The Palm, delivering casual fine‑dining service in a luxury hotel environment.
Key responsibilities
- Know the complete food and beverage menu and be able to answer guest queries.
- Prepare the outlet for service, including mise‑en‑place, setting and resetting tables, and light cleaning.
- Take guest orders, suggest upsells, and record sales accurately using the POS system.
- Serve food and drinks according to brand standards and presentation guidelines.
- Clear tables, transport dirty dishes, and maintain a clean, orderly station throughout the shift.
- Complete opening and closing duties as assigned, ensuring all brand standards are met.
- Accommodate special guest requests for specific preparation methods or ingredients.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel or established restaurant setting.
- Energetic, fun‑loving personality with a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Currently residing in the United Arab Emirates.
- Fluent English communication skills.
