Waiter/Waitress – Full‑time Hotel Role in Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and talented Waiter/Waitress to join our team at Novotel & Ibis Abu Dhabi Gate Hotels. The role involves delivering high‑standard food and beverage service, supporting banquet operations and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Report for duty punctually, wearing the correct uniform, name badge and palm pin.
• Gather and transport all supplies needed for the set‑up of functions.
• Perform side duties and checklist tasks, reporting any deviations from standards.
• Maintain operating equipment and ensure service and storage areas are safe, clean and locked.
• Handle guest needs, complaints and on‑site requests courteously and promptly.
• Set up and unset function rooms, including table setting, according to established standards.
• Perform cashiering and beverage dispensing duties as assigned by Banquet Management.
• Deliver food and beverage service of high standard in line with departmental procedures.
• Assist other Food & Beverage outlets during peak times when needed.
• Report any complaints, incidents or irregularities to management.

Required profile

• Average reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.
• Well presented and professionally groomed at all times.
• Good communication and customer contact skills with problem‑resolution ability.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage products.
• Guest‑oriented, service‑minded with attention to quality.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (additional languages an advantage).
• Prior experience in a related system is an asset.
