Waiter/Waitress – Hotel Dining Service

About the role

We are seeking a professional Waiter/Waitress to join the dining team at Dukes The Palm Dubai Hotel, part of the Colbert Collection. The role focuses on delivering consistent, high‑quality service to hotel guests and supporting the manager in achieving top guest‑satisfaction scores.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and escort guests to their tables, presenting menus and explaining specials.
• Provide detailed menu information, including portion sizes, ingredients and allergy considerations.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system and deliver them promptly.
• Set and maintain table settings, ensuring a tidy dining area and clean kitchenware.
• Upsell additional products and make menu recommendations when appropriate.
• Process checks, collect payments and adhere to health‑department regulations.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a luxury hotel with at least 500 rooms.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and adapt to business demands.
• High school diploma; food‑safety training is a plus.
• Strong team spirit and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS ordering software.
• Knowledge of food safety standards.
