Waiter/Waitress – Luxury Hotel Service

About the role

We are looking for a courteous and professional Waiter/Waitress to join the Food & Beverage team at Raffles The Palm, a luxury resort in Dubai. The role involves delivering high‑standard service to hotel guests in a refined dining environment.

Key responsibilities

• Read daily events and welcome VIP guests.
• Know all menu items, garnishes, preparation methods and convey information to guests.
• Present children’s menus, describe specials and alternative cuisine.
• Serve and clear food and beverage items unobtrusively.
• Operate the POS system to ring up sales, print and close checks, and complete cash‑out procedures.
• Carry trays, bus and reset tables with linen, china, glass and silverware.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, resolve issues and report to the manager.
• Maintain a clean, orderly restaurant and stock work stations with condiments.
• Polish silverware and handle operating equipment responsibly.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and customer‑service attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, luxury hospitality environment.
• Attention to detail and strong hygiene awareness.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS (Point‑of‑Sale) systems.
• Cash and credit‑card handling procedures.
