Waiter/Waitress – Luxury Resort

About the role

As a Waiter/Waitress at Rixos Al Mairid Ras Al Khaimah, you will provide warm, professional food and beverage service while creating a welcoming experience for every guest, following the resort’s service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, answer enquiries, and build positive relationships through attentive service.
• Know the food and beverage menu, recommend suitable options, and identify opportunities to upsell.
• Complete opening and closing duties and keep the outlet clean, organised, and ready for service.
• Respond to guest concerns promptly and refer unresolved issues to the Team Leader for follow‑up.
• Monitor supplies, minimise waste, and assist with operating equipment inventories.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, health and safety procedures, and participate in required training.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality or a related field is preferred.
• Previous food and beverage service experience in a four or five‑star hotel is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of food and beverage service, with the ability to recommend menu items and upsell.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, guest‑focused approach.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health and safety standards.
