Warehouse Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant to support our warehouse and clearance operations in Dubai. The role involves coordinating trailer and driver schedules, ensuring timely loading, clearance and dispatch of vehicles while maintaining compliance with safety and HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate trailer movements and adjust driver schedules to meet clearance requirements.
• Identify urgent clearance needs and take prompt action.
• Liaise with Customs authorities and escalate assistance requests.
• Monitor operations, report deviations and prepare daily clearance reports.
• Plan and allocate vehicles according to load requirements and verify timely loading and dispatch.
• Record trip and movement data accurately in the Oracle system.
• Coordinate staff transportation allocation and execution.
• Ensure strict adherence to operational processes, safety and HSE standards.
• Complete all required documentation within stipulated timelines.

Required profile

• Minimum education: 10+2 or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar warehouse or clearance role.
• Ability to communicate effectively with key partners.
• Basic English proficiency.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using Oracle for data entry and reporting.
