Warehouse Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our receiving, warehousing and distribution functions in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures smooth, efficient operations while maintaining high standards of safety, security and cost control.

Key responsibilities

• Direct receiving, warehousing and distribution services, providing materials, equipment and supplies while supervising staff.
• Initiate, coordinate and enforce operational, program and personnel policies to maintain efficient warehouse operations.
• Study and apply federal, state and local regulations related to warehousing, material handling and shipping, advising management on required actions.
• Establish and monitor security procedures and protocols to protect warehouse operations and inventory.
• Conduct physical inventory counts, reconcile results with the data storage system and control inventory levels.
• Plan and implement new warehouse layout designs, inspect equipment and issue work orders for repairs or replacements.
• Prepare an annual budget, schedule expenditures, analyze variances and initiate corrective actions to meet financial objectives.
• Schedule and assign employees, follow up on work results and ensure operational requirements are met.
• Recruit, select, orient and train warehouse staff.
• Coach, counsel and discipline employees, monitor performance and conduct appraisals.
• Maintain professional knowledge through workshops, publications and networking.
• Contribute to team efforts by achieving related results as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 5 + years of experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to manage and develop teams, including performance evaluations and corrective actions.
• Excellent cross‑functional communication skills.
• Strong time‑ and task‑management abilities, with the capacity to set priorities and meet deadlines.
