Web Developer - Freelance Remote

About the role

We are seeking a freelance Web Developer to build and maintain the online presence of a mission‑driven senior‑care organization. Working remotely, you will create new WordPress sites, enhance e‑commerce functionality, and support internal tools that help staff deliver quality care.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and launch new WordPress websites from concept to production.
• Set up and configure WooCommerce for client‑facing e‑commerce sites.
• Create internal web pages and tools to streamline staff and operational workflows.
• Perform regular updates of plugins, themes, and core WordPress software.
• Troubleshoot site bugs, downtime, and performance issues.
• Manage hosting tasks on SiteGround or comparable platforms.
• Maintain and update e‑commerce features, product pages, and checkout flows.
• Monitor e‑commerce performance to ensure a smooth user experience.
• Maintain HubSpot integrations (forms, tracking, workflows) linked to the website.
• Collaborate using Google Workspace for documentation and team coordination.
• Provide light design support using existing brand assets and incorporate AI‑generated or Canva content.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience building and maintaining WordPress websites.
• Experience with WooCommerce or similar WordPress‑based e‑commerce solutions.
• Familiarity with SiteGround or comparable hosting environments.
• Working knowledge of HubSpot forms, integrations, or workflows.
• Strong written and verbal English communication for daily collaboration with a US‑based client.
