About the role

Emirates Loves is a growing network of community platforms that celebrate the friendship between the UAE and nations worldwide. The role is to own the Emirates Loves website end‑to‑end, handling everything from daily administration to editorial publishing.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, maintain and improve the Emirates Loves website on a day‑to‑day basis.
• Write, edit and publish news articles, event announcements, previews and post‑event coverage.
• Build and update event landing pages, coordinating visuals, schedules and registration links with events and marketing teams.
• Keep the homepage and news feed current, including live updates during events.
• Source, edit and optimise photography, video and copy from events and community pages.
• Plan, write and send regular newsletters and email campaigns to the community and partners.
• Maintain a content calendar aligned with the event schedule.
• Handle on‑page SEO, metadata, page speed and basic accessibility.
• Collaborate with designers and developers on site improvements and new sections.
• Track traffic and engagement metrics and use insights to shape future content.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in web content management, digital editorial, online journalism or a similar field.
• Excellent written English; professional Arabic strongly preferred.
• Hands‑on experience with a CMS and a strong news instinct.
