Workshop Manager – Freelander (Dubai)

About the role

Al Tayer Motors, a premium luxury automotive brand in the UAE, is seeking a Workshop Manager for its Freelander operations in Dubai. The role supports the Service Manager in achieving revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction targets while ensuring efficient workshop operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and monitoring monthly work schedules and budgets, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Review and optimise workshop structure, workflows and job responsibilities with the Service Manager.
• Ensure timely supply of parts to technicians and coordinate alternative sourcing when required.
• Support service staff in maintaining tools to minimise costs without compromising safety.
• Supervise mechanics to ensure adherence to workshop processes, quality standards, profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Provide product quality feedback and submit relevant reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 60 months (5 years) of workshop management experience.
• Proven ability to supervise mechanics and maintain high quality standards.
• Experience in budgeting, performance monitoring and corrective action implementation.
• Strong coordination skills for parts supply and tool maintenance.
