About the role

Jumeirah International Nurseries is seeking enthusiastic Year 1 Teachers to join its network of British Early Childhood Centres across Dubai. The role involves delivering high‑quality early years education to children aged 5‑6 years, following the British curriculum and the centre’s holistic approach.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Year 1 lessons that meet curriculum standards.
• Create a safe, supportive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to parents and senior staff.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop cross‑year activities and enrichment programmes.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to the centre’s continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification: B.Ed. or B.A. with PGCE and QTS.
• Experience working with children aged 5‑6 years in an early years setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Committed to inspiring and supporting every learner.
• Professional work ethic and ability to work well within a team.
