Account Executive – Corporate PR (Financial Clients)

About the role

As an Account Executive in Corporate PR, you will join Burson's client teams to support financial sector clients. The role offers hands‑on experience in B2B and B2G communications, allowing you to develop media relations, content creation, and research skills while contributing to thought‑leadership initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily media monitoring, compile coverage reports and track industry trends.
• Assist in drafting press releases, media alerts, social media posts and other communication materials.
• Support media outreach and help maintain relationships with key journalists.
• Coordinate logistics for press conferences, events and client meetings.
• Research financial markets, industry news and political developments to inform strategies.
• Prepare presentations and client‑facing documents, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Contribute to thought‑leadership projects through research, data collection and content organization.
• Manage administrative tasks such as activity trackers and timely delivery of project components.

Required profile

• Previous relevant experience or internships in public relations or communications.
• Strong interest in the financial sector and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a global team.
