Account Executive – Payments Ecosystem

About the role

The Account Executive drives new revenue growth for Finera across the payments ecosystem. You will own the full sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure, and contribute to the overall sales and marketing strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, target and close new business with merchants, PSPs and fintech partners.
• Lead commercial negotiations, pricing discussions and contract agreements.
• Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies for Finera’s payment orchestration solutions in collaboration with Product, Marketing, Compliance and Operations.
• Represent Finera at industry events and deliver proposals, pitches and RFP responses.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of experience in business development, partner management or channel sales, preferably in fintech or payments.
• Proven track record in a new‑business (hunter) role with consistent achievement of sales targets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
• Fluent English and willingness to travel regionally and internationally.

Required skills

• Strong negotiation and commercial acumen, including pricing model structuring.
• Excellent communication skills with senior decision‑makers.
• Analytical, data‑driven approach to pipeline and performance tracking.
• Experience with Salesforce (preferred).
