Account Manager - District Cooling Vertical, UAE

About the role

Carrier, a global provider of HVAC, refrigeration, fire, security and cold chain solutions, is looking for an experienced Account Manager for its District Cooling vertical in the UAE. The role leads business development, strategic account management and project pursuit in the UAE district cooling market, building relationships with providers, developers, consultants and EPC contractors and driving opportunities from early project development through tender, award and execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a UAE district cooling market growth plan and build a robust opportunity pipeline with accurate sales forecasts.
• Build relationships with district cooling providers, developers, consultants and EPC contractors, and coordinate engagement across Carrier's business functions.
• Pursue strategic accounts, framework agreements and partnerships, and expand business within existing accounts.
• Lead opportunity strategy and pursuit plans for major projects, including bid preparation, proposal development and commercial negotiations.
• Support design consultants in selecting high-efficiency district cooling solutions and position Carrier's centrifugal chillers and integrated district cooling systems.
• Sell Carrier's district cooling portfolio, including centrifugal chillers, plant solutions, advanced controls, digital platforms, energy-efficiency solutions, long-term service agreements and lifecycle solutions.
• Represent Carrier at industry associations, conferences and exhibitions, and organize technical workshops and product presentations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 8-15 years of experience in HVAC, district cooling, utilities, infrastructure or energy, with proven sales, business development and key account management experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex B2B sales and long-cycle project pursuits.
• Strong understanding of the UAE construction, infrastructure and district cooling market.

Required skills

• Good understanding of district cooling plants and chilled water systems.
• Technical knowledge of centrifugal chillers and district cooling systems.
