Account Manager - MEA

About the role

PIMCO, a global leader in active fixed income investing, is hiring an Account Manager for its Middle East and Africa (MEA) business in Ajman. Account Managers build and develop client relationships, monitor portfolios and communicate strategies, and educate clients on investment products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Promote PIMCO's full range of products to external clients through personal presentations and one-to-one meetings.
• Work with marketing, PR, sales support, product specialists and portfolio managers to cover the target market comprehensively and consistently.
• Maintain client records and build lasting relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Deliver an outstanding client experience focused on client needs, in line with the company's TCF policy.
• Ensure compliance, audit and legal requirements are met and business is conducted in line with practice.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of investments and financial markets, especially fixed income and alternatives.
• CFA or MBA qualification desirable; IMC or undergraduate degree is the minimum requirement.
• Familiarity with wealth management and financial intermediary sales, with excellent relationship management and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of MEA markets and fluent Arabic is a plus.
• Experience in a similar role is desirable.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated, comfortable with autonomy and able to work in a team.
