Strategy & Business Planning Manager

About the role

An experienced Strategy & Business Planning Manager is sought to lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives in Abu Dhabi. The role drives annual budgeting and forecasting, delivers commercial and revenue analysis, and builds performance dashboards to support data-driven decisions. It works closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to optimize business processes, monitor market trends and keep business plans aligned with corporate objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive strategic and business plans aligned with organizational goals
• Lead and manage the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
• Design, build and maintain performance dashboards using Power BI and Tableau
• Conduct commercial and revenue analysis to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather insights, align priorities and drive strategic initiatives
• Optimize business processes to improve efficiency, productivity and cost-effectiveness
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership
• Monitor market trends, the competitive landscape and regulatory changes to inform strategy adjustments

Required profile

• 7-10 years of professional experience in strategic planning, business planning or related roles
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field
• Demonstrated experience in cross-functional stakeholder management and collaboration
• Preferred: MBA or advanced degree, prior experience in UAE or GCC markets (government, energy or related sectors), Arabic proficiency, and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle) and financial modeling tools
