Account Manager - Service Sales Energy

About the role

Alfa Laval is hiring an Account Manager for its after-market service sales business, covering the UAE and Oman with the position based in Abu Dhabi. The role accelerates growth of the Heat Exchanger business across the HVAC and Energy markets, acting as commercial lead for assigned accounts and working with customers, service sales teams, operations, marketing and the European central organization.

Key responsibilities

• Handle direct sales for assigned accounts, from inquiry to order, and generate and nurture leads into orders
• Drive and own frame/fleet agreements to maximize efficiency and growth
• Collaborate with Business Development, P&A and the Business Unit to grow the business
• Engage regularly with customers in person, understand their needs and deliver product and service value
• Follow established sales processes, develop value-based quotes and follow up on them
• Provide direct support to customers during the quotation process
• Conduct regular account reviews, stay aware of competitor activity and use CRM and other tools consistently
• Build a broad network across key customer organizations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering preferred
• 6+ years of sales experience in Oil & Gas, Energy or HVAC industries, with a proven track record in sales and negotiation, especially key account management
• Customer-focused, with strong business acumen, networking, relationship building and key account management skills
