Accountant (Cost Accounting Focus)

About the role

Bellomassi Foods is looking for a skilled Accountant specializing in cost accounting to join its finance team in Dubai. The role covers manufacturing and product costing, inventory valuation, production expense analysis and product profitability assessment. It is a full-time position with an estimated salary of AED 6,500 to 9,500 per month.

Key responsibilities

• Manage manufacturing and product costing, including Bill of Materials (BOM) analysis
• Analyze production expenses and identify ways to improve cost efficiency
• Monitor inventory valuation, stock reconciliation, wastage and cost variances
• Evaluate production costs and profit margins to find potential savings
• Prepare cost reports and give financial insights for business planning
• Maintain accurate costing records in ERP systems and investigate cost discrepancies

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CMA or ACCA qualification preferred
• 3 to 5 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in food manufacturing or FMCG

Required skills

• Manufacturing costing, product costing, BOM analysis and cost accounting procedures
• Inventory valuation, stock reconciliation, wastage monitoring and variance analysis
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems
• Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, attention to detail and financial reporting skills
