Accountant – Finance & Accounts Team

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our Finance & Accounts team. The role provides hands‑on exposure to multiple accounting functions, supporting daily transaction processing, reporting, and compliance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger modules.
• Assist with invoice preparation, billing, and follow‑up on customer payments.
• Perform basic reconciliations for bank, supplier and customer accounts.
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits and compliance.
• Support journal entry preparation and monthly closing activities.
• Assist with VAT documentation and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments to collect and verify financial data.
• Help manage petty cash records and staff expense claims.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing or project‑based environment is a plus.
• Strong data‑entry accuracy and basic reconciliation skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to system‑based processes.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with accounting software; Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding of UAE VAT compliance (advantageous).
