Accountant (Full-Time) – Sharjah, UAE

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our finance team in Sharjah. The role involves managing the company’s financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with UAE accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and process journal entries, invoices, payments, and receipts.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assist with VAT filing and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Support external audits by preparing required documentation.
• Process payroll and maintain employee payroll records when required.
• Monitor budgets and provide financial analysis to management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT regulations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
