Accountant – Hospitality Finance (Dubai)

About the role

IIQAF Group is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to join its hospitality division in Dubai. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with UAE accounting standards and VAT regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger, journals, and accurate financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
• Perform bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow and support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with UAE regulations.
• Assist internal and external auditors by providing complete documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards and internal controls.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement and management teams on financial matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
• Experience in hospitality, hotel, restaurant or tourism accounting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, VAT, bookkeeping and reconciliation.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills and high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books or other ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
