About the role
The Accountant will manage the full accounts receivable and payable cycles, ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations, and support month‑end and year‑end closing activities using Odoo ERP.
Key responsibilities
- Process customer invoicing, payments, and AR reconciliations in Odoo, generate aging reports and forecast collections.
- Handle supplier invoices, three‑way matching, vendor payments and AP aging, ensuring accurate VAT treatment.
- Prepare AR and AP financial reports, assist with budgeting, cash‑flow forecasting and support internal and external audits.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and IFRS.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Odoo ERP.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
