Accountant

About the role

Al Mirath Real Estates is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join its team in Al Mirath, Dubai. The role covers financial correspondence, receipts, collections and customer statements of account, in a fast-paced environment requiring strong organisation and attention to detail. The position is full time and permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate daily accounting records and bookkeeping
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers and statements
• Perform daily bank and cash reconciliations
• Monitor customer, tenant, landlord and supplier balances
• Handle commission calculations and agent payments
• Prepare monthly financial reports and management statements
• Assist with VAT calculations, filings and supporting documentation
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, suppliers and other external parties
• Monitor company expenses and maintain organised financial records
• Assist management with budgeting, cash flow and financial analysis
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and UAE regulations
• Support payroll processing and employee-related financial transactions when required

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Minimum 1-2 years of accounting experience in the UAE
• Proven experience in a similar accounting role
• Candidates able to handle both accounting and administrative tasks are preferred
• Only immediate joiners are preferred

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
