Accounting Manager

About the role

Happy Travel is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to direct financial operations at its Dubai headquarters. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the role combines strategic financial governance with hands-on operational management to support a fast-paced global travel business. The position is full time.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and evaluate the internal accounting team to drive departmental performance.
• Oversee and prepare accurate financial statements, management accounts and periodic performance reviews.
• Direct accounts receivable, accounts payable, working capital and cash flow operations.
• Enforce financial controls, tax compliance standards and internal audit procedures.
• Partner with technology teams to implement accounting automation and optimise financial workflows via Zoho Books.

Required profile

• Recognised professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent.
• Proven senior accounting or management experience in the UAE; background in B2B travel or tourism is preferred.
• Diploma level qualification; career level mid-level.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Practical experience with Zoho Books.
• Strong financial system automation skills.
