Accountant – Manufacturing Costing & VAT

About the role

Coveter Furniture Industry LLC is seeking an experienced Accountant to oversee accounting activities for its manufacturing operations in the United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on job‑order costing, inventory accounting, VAT compliance and timely financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage job‑order costing, allocating material, labour and overhead costs.
• Process supplier invoices, customer billing and perform account reconciliations.
• Handle full Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger entries.
• Maintain inventory records for raw materials, work‑in‑progress and finished goods.
• Support UAE VAT filings and ensure compliance with documentation requirements.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports and supporting schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience in the UAE, preferably in furniture manufacturing, carpentry or upholstery.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work with short notice periods.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
