Accountant – Real Estate

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Accountant to join our real‑estate team. You will be responsible for handling the full spectrum of accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage receivables and payables, general ledger, fixed assets, inventory, cash and banking transactions.
• Verify, classify, compute, post and record accounts receivable and payable data.
• Validate invoices against LPOs, work orders and site reports, and process supplier payments.
• Perform regular bank, vendor and customer reconciliations and review bank statements.
• Oversee monthly payroll, salary distribution, end‑of‑service calculations, leave payments and related airline ticket reimbursements.
• Administer petty‑cash operations, ensuring proper inspection, bill payments and cash counts.
• Prepare and review VAT input and output calculations.
• Support monthly and yearly closing processes and assist internal and external audits.
• Verify leasing contracts and work orders to ensure billing accuracy in the system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (attestation required if obtained outside the UAE).
• Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
• Experience with ERP Odoo is essential.
• Background in real‑estate, leasing or contracting sectors is a plus.
