Accountant – Service Center (Garage Experience Preferred)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our finance team at a busy service centre serving automotive garages. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting tasks, ensuring accurate records, and supporting VAT compliance in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily bookkeeping and accounting records.
• Prepare invoices, receipts and payment vouchers.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with UAE VAT documentation and filings.
• Prepare periodic financial reports for management.
• Maintain organized filing and record‑keeping of financial documents.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in an automotive garage or service centre.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA or CMA are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of UAE accounting practices and VAT regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with accounting software.
