Accountant – UAE VAT & Corporate Tax Specialist

About the role

Hydrojet Technical Services & Contracting LLC is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to join its team in Dubai. The role focuses on maintaining financial records, overseeing transaction pipelines, performing reconciliations, and supporting daily accounting operations for the contracting and technical services sector.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable cycles, ledger entries, and vendor/client reconciliations.
• Prepare, issue, and archive customer invoices while monitoring receivables to ensure timely collections.
• Execute monthly bank reconciliations and verify transaction accuracy across company accounts.
• Assist with the preparation of routine financial reports, balance statements, and operational accounting logs.
• Ensure company compliance with UAE accounting standards, local VAT filing requirements, and Corporate Tax regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of direct UAE accounting experience.
• High proficiency in accounting software systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance.
