Advent Dotnet Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, forward‑thinking Software Engineer to optimize our Advent APX platform and drive operational efficiency. The role bridges traditional financial technology with modern .NET, automation, and AI.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and optimize the Advent APX core application environment.
• Write, debug, and tune complex MS SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers, ensuring database integrity and high availability.
• Build and maintain backend services using the .NET (C#) framework and design automated testing frameworks.
• Provide tier‑2/3 technical support, eliminate manual intervention by engineering reliable CI/CD pipelines.
• Audit existing workflows, integrate modern APIs and microservices using Node.js and .NET, and apply AI/LLM technologies to automate data processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years hands‑on technical administration experience with Advent APX.
• Expert‑level skills in MS SQL Server database design and T‑SQL.
• Strong proficiency in .NET (C#) and backend architecture.
• Conceptual understanding of Node.js and AI toolkits.
• Proven experience with test automation tools such as Playwright.
• Proactive problem‑solver who challenges the status quo.
