AI Development Engineer – Generative AI Solutions

About the role

Join Capgemini in Dubai as an AI Development Engineer, focusing on building and integrating enterprise Generative AI solutions, including GenAI apps, RAG pipelines, AI agents, and automation workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Develop end‑to‑end GenAI applications, RAG components, prompt flows, data connectors, APIs and AI agents.
• Design responsive user interfaces using React, Next.js, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3 and modern UI libraries such as Material UI or Tailwind CSS.
• Implement vector indexes, embeddings, document processing and knowledge grounding with Azure AI services.
• Create PoCs, MVPs and reusable accelerators for client demonstrations and delivery mobilization.
• Support testing, evaluation, performance tuning, monitoring and cost optimisation, and document designs and deployment patterns.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in software, data, AI, cloud development or automation.
• Hands‑on experience building GenAI, RAG, chatbot or enterprise integration solutions.
• Proven ability to work in agile teams and communicate technical trade‑offs clearly.

Required skills

• Python and FastAPI (or similar backend frameworks).
• React, Next.js, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Material UI, Tailwind CSS.
• Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, Azure ML fundamentals.
• RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector search, prompt engineering.
• Git, CI/CD, containers, automated testing.
