Air Traffic Controller – Dubai (DXB & DWC)

About the role

DFS Aviation Services is seeking qualified Tower/Aerodrome or Approach Air Traffic Controllers to manage and control air traffic at Dubai International Airport (DXB) or Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC). The role ensures a safe, orderly and efficient flow of aircraft within the assigned airspace.

Key responsibilities

• Manage air traffic flow and provide slot allocation information to avoid congestion.
• Coordinate with external agencies such as adjacent ATC units, UAE military and Airside Operations.
• Adhere to regularity reporting of safety incidents (ROSI) with accurate and complete information.
• Promote a safety‑focused culture encouraging reporting of safety issues.

Required profile

• Validated ATC Licence with Aerodrome/Tower or Approach Radar rating.
• Ideally 3 years experience at a major international airport.
• Comprehensive knowledge of ATC procedures, standards and aviation safety management systems.
• At least ICAO Level 4 English proficiency and a valid Class 3 ATC Medical Certificate.
