Airport Duty Officer (UAE Nationals Only)

About the role

Etihad is recruiting an Airport Duty Officer, open only to UAE nationals, based in Abu Dhabi. The role leads and supports airport operational teams across all shifts, helping deliver exceptional guest experiences and keeping airport operations running smoothly in a 24/7 environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support airport operational teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain seamless operations across all shifts
• Oversee critical operational areas, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements while contributing to continuous improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to coordinate activities and resolve operational challenges
• Develop supervisory and leadership capabilities through hands-on experience, mentoring and exposure to best practices
• Monitor and optimise operational efficiency, identifying ways to improve processes and service delivery
• Support a culture of excellence and innovation aligned with world-class aviation standards

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree completed within the last three years
• UAE national, aged 21 or older, with a valid family book
• Completion or permanent exemption certificate from UAE National Service (for males)
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Ready to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment and able to wear the Etihad uniform
• Open to working at airports outside the UAE
