Analytics Engineer II

About the role

As an Analytics Engineer at talabat, you will transform raw data into reliable, well‑structured models that empower analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to make data‑driven decisions. You will collaborate closely with data engineers and product analysts to build scalable pipelines and ensure data is actionable.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain clean, efficient, and scalable data models using SQL and dbt.
• Optimize query performance and data processing efficiency.
• Work with data engineers to define requirements and enhance ETL pipelines.
• Partner with product analysts, data scientists, and business teams to meet analytical and reporting needs.
• Implement data quality best practices, automate validation, and monitor data integrity.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, technology or related field.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in data modeling with dbt.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with cloud‑based data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, GCP, or Redshift.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD practices for data workflows.
