About the role
Amazon is looking for an Area Manager to lead a core team within a Fulfillment Centre in the United Arab Emirates. You will be responsible for one of the main operational streams – receiving, stow, pick, pack or ship – ensuring smooth workflows and exceeding customer expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead a team of 80‑120 associates, driving training, integration and motivation.
- Maintain safety standards and promote Amazon’s Health and Safety policies.
- Monitor and achieve KPI targets, inventory accuracy and process quality.
- Identify and implement process improvements, lean techniques and performance metrics.
- Lead cross‑functional problem‑solving initiatives and share best practices.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
- Flexible availability to work shifts, weekends, nights and holidays.
- Preferred: 1+ year of experience with performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques.
