Art & Design Teacher – Middle School (IB MYP)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Art & Design Teacher to join a Sharjah Middle School for grades 6‑10. The role starts in August 2026 and involves delivering the IB MYP and Australian curriculum to a diverse student body.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Art and Design lessons for middle‑school students.
• Integrate design technology and visual arts into interdisciplinary projects.
• Develop curriculum resources aligned with the IB MYP framework and Australian standards.
• Provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate student records.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development and school events.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with degree‑level certification and QTS or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years post‑qualification teaching experience (Australia, New Zealand, UK, Ireland, USA, Canada or similar).
• Experience with IB MYP and/or Australian curriculum is highly desirable.
• International teaching experience and EAL (English as an Additional Language) experience are a plus.
