About the role
International Community Schools is seeking a passionate Art Teacher to join Al Maharat Private School for the 2026/27 academic year. The role involves delivering engaging iGCSE art lessons to high and secondary school students, fostering creativity and artistic development.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver art lessons aligned with the iGCSE curriculum.
- Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a well‑organized art studio and manage classroom resources.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross‑curricular projects.
- Communicate regularly with parents about student progress.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of teaching experience at secondary school level.
- Strong knowledge of iGCSE art requirements.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
