About the role
The Asphalt Foreman leads a team of asphalt workers, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget while maintaining safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of asphalt workers, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Plan and organize daily work schedules and tasks.
- Monitor project progress to ensure timely and budget‑conscious completion.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and materials for compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to communicate updates and resolve issues.
- Enforce safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
- Assist in maintenance and repair of asphalt paving equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and labor hours.
