Asset Manager - Hotel Investment Portfolio

About the role

Wasl, one of Dubai's largest real estate management companies, is hiring an Asset Manager within its Hospitality & Leisure division. The role reports to the Head of Hospitality Asset Management and supports the optimization of the company's hotel investment portfolio by analysing hotel operations, financial performance and strategic planning to boost profitability and asset value.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse hotel profit and loss statements, prepare reports and presentations for management, and identify inefficiencies while sharing benchmarking tools and KPIs.
• Act as the main contact for hotels on special projects, deep dives and data collection.
• Prepare trend analysis reports on major KPIs and business drivers, and review monthly forecasts and budgets, highlighting risks.
• Maintain the Wasl Hospitality dashboard with accurate, timely data migration via Microsoft BI and improve BI analysis tools.
• Review feasibility studies, ROI projections, asset strategy plans and annual audit reports, and support synergy and cost management across the portfolio.
• Keep a database of hospitality partners, hotel and F&B operators and potential tenants.
• Take part in business review meetings and act as custodian of hotels' loose and fixed assets.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Finance, Business Administration or a related field; Master's preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in hotel asset management consultancy or a hotel investment company.
• Knowledge of the hospitality industry and familiarity with hotel benchmarking tools such as STR.
• Experience in feasibility studies and ROI projections.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Business Intelligence and the MS Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication, organization and teamwork skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
