Assistant Contracts Manager – Real Estate & Construction

About the role

Union Properties PJSC is looking for a diligent Assistant Contracts Manager to support the Contracts Manager in overseeing contractual aspects of residential, commercial and mixed‑use developments in Dubai. The role ensures projects are delivered in line with agreements, budgets and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, reviewing and administering tender documents, contracts and sub‑contract agreements.
• Support negotiation of contract terms with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor contract compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage variations, claims and potential disputes promptly.
• Assist with cost control, risk assessment and preparation of financial and contractual reports.
• Liaise with project managers, legal counsel and internal departments to align contractual matters.
• Maintain organized contract records and related documentation.
• Contribute to commercial close‑out and settlement of final accounts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management or related field.
• Proven experience in contracts administration or as an assistant contracts manager, preferably in UAE real estate or construction.
• Strong understanding of contract law, procurement processes and standard forms such as FIDIC.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Required skills

• Proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
• Familiarity with contract management software.
