About the role

The Assistant Housekeeping Manager supports the Executive Housekeeper in delivering Six Senses’ vision of wellness‑focused hospitality. This role ensures the housekeeping department operates efficiently, upholds brand standards, and creates a secure, welcoming environment for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of housekeeping and laundry, ensuring rooms and public areas meet Six Senses quality standards.
• Implement and enforce policies, procedures, and best practices across the department.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Guest Services, Reservations and F&B to anticipate and meet guest needs.
• Maintain inventory, conduct stocktakes, and ensure purchasing aligns with Six Senses sustainability platform.
• Monitor safety, security, emergency and hygiene protocols for staff and guests.
• Interact professionally with guests, handle complaints, and drive service recovery.
• Facilitate clear communication between housekeeping and other resort departments.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Executive Housekeeper.

Required profile

• Proven experience in housekeeping management within a luxury hotel environment.
• Strong knowledge of safety, security, emergency and hygiene procedures.
• Understanding of sustainability and wellness practices as applied to hotel operations.
• Ability to maintain high standards of personal appearance, grooming and hygiene.
