Assistant HR Manager – Resort Hospitality

About the role

The Assistant Human Resources Manager supports the HR function at Bab Al Shams Desert Resort, delivering high‑level service to employees and management. The role assists with recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination and HR administration while ensuring compliance with hotel policies, labor law and brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and driving the HR strategy in line with Kerzner Global HR direction.
• Coordinate internal communications to ensure timely and appropriate messaging.
• Support the annual HR budget process and monitor direct reports’ P&L.
• Participate in workforce planning, staffing optimisation and cost‑effective service delivery.
• Analyse HR statistics, identify trends and adjust resources accordingly.
• Conduct interviews for management positions and manage onboarding processes.
• Assist in the annual HR review and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Communicate CES results, develop action plans and improve colleague conditions.
• Execute performance management processes and manage talent management initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of HR policies, labor law and hospitality standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable plans.
• Experience in recruitment, onboarding and talent management.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on fostering a positive workplace culture.
