Assistant Manager – Finance (Emirati)

About the role

Provide assistance in preparing budgets, management reports and financial statistics required by government ministries, while supervising the accounts receivable ledger and ensuring timely reconciliation with the general ledger.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise preparation of the accounts receivable ledger for the head office and issue timely statements to clients.
• Reconcile accounts receivable statements of head office, branches and chief agency with the general ledger and highlight variances.
• Assist the Finance Manager in collecting data for underwriting and financial reports for management decision‑making.
• Compile financial and statistical reports for submission to government departments to meet statutory requirements.
• Review branch reports for financial accuracy and assign appropriate accounting effects.
• Maintain and update accounts of insurance brokers, checking premium registers for accuracy and identifying variances.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• UAE national with Family Book.
• Fresh graduate or 1‑2 years of experience in banking or insurance.
• Resident of Sharjah or Dubai and able to join immediately.

Required skills

• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet applications.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage time and meet deadlines.
• Proactive and self‑motivated with capability to handle multiple tasks.
