Assistant Manager – Marketing

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Marketing will develop and execute strategic marketing and communications plans to support the Exhibition Department’s regional and international events, enhancing brand visibility and audience engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies for the Exhibition Department’s portfolio.
• Create innovative marketing campaigns, tools and activities.
• Assist project managers in pitching to corporate sponsors.
• Produce marketing collateral for regional and international exhibitions.
• Build databases, conduct research and enhance exhibition offerings such as conferences, gala dinners and awards ceremonies.
• Source, negotiate and manage external agencies including printers, designers, PR and media partners.
• Manage on‑site exhibition activities, press conferences, press days and media centres.
• Research new show ideas, markets and develop data‑management procedures for the department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in marketing, preferably within the exhibition organizing industry.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, campaign management and brand communication.
• Excellent project management, coordination and multitasking abilities.
• Experience working with external agencies and vendors.
