Assistant Manager, People Development

About the role

Join Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi as an Assistant Manager, People Development, supporting training, quality and people initiatives across the hotel. You will work closely with the People & Culture team, department heads and regional learning partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain training tools, manuals and certificates in collaboration with the regional office.
• Coordinate yearly performance reviews for supervisory staff and manage individual development plans.
• Compile training requirements, attendance records, inspection reports and monthly training, quality and business summary reports.
• Deliver internal technical training, oversee departmental training schedules and the property induction programme.
• Lead quality assurance activities, conduct audits, monitor guest feedback and drive continuous improvement.
• Coach managers and staff, manage special projects and ensure compliance with brand standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience in the hospitality industry.
• Proven ability to design and deliver learning programmes for multicultural audiences.
• Strong organisational, project‑management and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Experience with learning and development platforms (e.g., Accor Academy, HERO Learning).
• Familiarity with quality and feedback systems such as Trust You.
