Assistant Manager – Retail Store

About the role

The Assistant Manager supports store performance by driving sales, overseeing daily operations, and delivering exceptional customer service at Palm Jumeirah Mall.

Key responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing routines and supervise sales floor and stockroom.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, payroll, and train non‑management staff.
• Maintain visual displays, analyze reports for decision‑making, and protect store assets through inventory control.
• Operate Register/Point of Sale systems and ensure seamless store processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or at least one year of supervisory experience in a customer‑facing role.
• Strong problem‑solving, multi‑tasking, and team‑building abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, diverse environment and demonstrate brand awareness.

Required skills

• Point of Sale (POS) system operation.
• Inventory control and asset protection.
